In
2008, Tony Visconti and Mario J. McNulty earned their first Grammys
for their work as Producer and Engineer respectively on Angelique Kidjo's Djin
Djin. That album was Angelique's first Grammy for Best Contemporary World
Music Album.
Mick
Guzauski was one of several mixers who worked on Eric Clapton and JJ
Cale's The Road To Escondido which won a Grammy for Best Contemporary
Blues Album.
Mick
Guzauski was also honored with an Oscar-nomination for his mix of "So
Close" from the Disney film Enchanted.
In
2007 , Lawrence
Manchester was nominated for a 2007 TEC Award as part of the team that worked
on The Departed. As the recording engineer and mixer for the score,
Lawrence was nominated in the category of Outstanding Creative Achievement,
Film Sound Production. In
the past 7 years, Lawrence has engineered the scores for three Academy Award-winning
films: The Departed, FRIDA and The Red Violin .
In
2006, two clients, Mick Guzauski and Vic Florencia, won the Best
Engineer Grammy and Engineer Of The Year Juno (Canada's equivalent
to our Grammy Award) for their respective work with Eric Clapton
and Esthero.
In
2006 we also participated in five #1 albums and the #1 film in the country,
